Scoil Treasa Naofa has achieved a grand total of 6 green school flags to date with the latest one being awarded in June 2022. The flags achieved are as follows and were attained in this order:  Litter and Waste, Energy, Water, Travel, Biodiversity, Global citizenship: litter and waste. We are very proud of this achievement and a number of teachers and green school committees have worked hard for the flags over the last number of years. There are 4 remaining green flags to attain with Global citizenship: Energy – the next one on the list. We are hopeful we will achieve this flag by June 2025. This theme is very relevant at the moment with increasing costs of energy across the board- we are excited to see how our students come up with ideas to maintain current energy saving practices and come up with new ideas as global citizens.
