Tynock N.S. is an inclusive school, where families work together in a respectful and caring environment. The parents of the school are active and supportive and contribute positively to the warm family atmosphere of the school. The whole school community is committed to the holistic development of the child.
We are an extremely active school and are involved in competitions and GAA while also hosting dancing, cooking, lego and “say yes to languages” this year 2023 we learned Spanish as the language programme within the school as we aim to help all children to find a sport or activity which they enjoy.
The School is a Catholic School under the Patronage of Bishop Denis Nulty, the Bishop of Kildare & Leighlin and it aims at promoting the full and harmonious development of all pupils cognitive, intellectual, physical, cultural, moral and spiritual. The school caters for the full range of classes from Junior Infants to Sixth class. It is an inclusive school and caters for children of all abilities.
